The Wedding Dress your Best Charity Event is hosted by Heather Dodd and Maria Moudatsos. As Entrepreneurs, moms (dog moms too) and business owners, giving back and supporting women are at the core of who they are.
Together they decided to turn an idea born from a ladies' night into a fun event that gives back Heather is the founder and CEO of Refresh Evolution. A born entrepreneur, her love of business extends to working with other businesswomen to help empower and mentor them. "I believe a rising tide lifts all boats and love doing my part to encourage and facilitate success among women in business."
Maria Moudatsos was born and raised in Maple Ridge and has been a dedicated Realtor and Property Manager in her local community since 2007. Maria's passions include travel and adventure, dancing and fitness.
You will always find her walking and enjoying time with her golden doodles, Winnie and Stanley! Maria thrives on the empowerment she and her fellow female colleagues strive to provide through contributions to the community and those in need.
To raise $50,000 through the event for the Cythera Transition House Society.
To raise awareness of domestic and family-related abuse, women's empowerment, and a safer environment.
To build a community of donors To encourage solidarity and humanity.
To generate business for the locals.

The Cythera Transition House is a pillar in our community and provides a safe refuge and basic necessities for up to 30 days to women and children fleeing abuse.
Staffed 24 hours a day, residents receive emotional support in a secure, non-judgmental, and confidential environment. Charities like these have been crucial for the health and well-being of woman & Families within our community.
As Domestic and Family related abuse has been on the rise. It is with your support that we seek to improve the lives of Women within our community and raise awareness so that others who may be suffering may find the courage, and support to reach out.

Local Maple Ridge Businesses have donated silent auction items such as products, gift cards, vacation stays and services! This silent auction is going to be a BOMB!!!
In addition, each attendee will receive a gift bag as part of their ticket entry.
